The Fax mailbox service from UK Telephony gives you the ability to recieve faxes without an available fax machine and store them for when you can pick them up. It answers a call and receives and stores the incoming fax in a mailbox. It can be attached to any other service that takes calls, the combined service will auto detect faxes and start the fax service otherwise the normal service starts. This means you only need a single number for any normal form of telephone communications.

A mail box (all accounts have a default mail box created as standard) is used for the storage of the faxes, it can be combined with voicemails and call recordings or kept completely seperate. The settings on the mail box allow for notification by Email & SMS of any messages or faxes received plus the sending of the fax as an email attachment, the fax may also be viewed via the web using the mail box administration tools.
